Unfortunately part of being a woman is having to deal with the looming possibility of a yeast infection attacking at any moment. It can often times be frustrating and embarrassing going to the doctor getting creams to cure your yeast infection. There are simple home remedies for a yeast infection that will ensure a much faster and more efficient way of treating your yeast infection. No woman wants to deal with the itching, burning, and irritation of a yeast infection so it's important to get rid of it as quickly as possible.
There are many different ways of treating a yeast infection, however the most effective method is to try to avoid getting one in the first place. You can do this by avoiding excess consumption of alcohol, caffeine, anything with a high amount of sugar or food that has been processed and therefore unhealthy. Those things contribute to the rising levels of yeast in your body.
When someone gets a yeast infection, this happens because the natural amount of yeast in a person's body spreads and grows faster than the body can handle it and then you get a yeast infection as a result of the excess yeast. Yeast infections are not limited to a woman's vagina, they can present on the nose, mouth, and even in men despite popular belief. It is a known statistic that 75 percent of all women will eventually have a yeast infection sometime in their lives.
Now on to the home remedies. One of the most popular home remedies to treat a yeast infection is using apple cider vinegar by applying it to the affected area several times a day. You can also take a bath and put exactly one cup of apple cider vinegar in and soak in it for around twenty minutes or so. Tree oil is another good remedy that can be easily carried out by putting a couple drops on your tampon, insert into the vagina several times a day for approximately twenty minutes.
Yogurt is another popular natural way of treating a yeast infection. Most yogurt contains live cultures which are bacteria that is good for your body and helps to fend off harmful bacteria like the ones in yeast infections. Simply apply about a cup to the affected areas or consume a couple cups a day.
I have personally suffered from yeast infections for years, and I learned the hard way that most simple home remedies for a yeast infection just don't work.
After trying every cream, oral medication, and remedy out there I felt hopeless.
That was until I found this website: http://www.squidoo.com/no-more-yeast-infections

Simple Home Remedies For Yeast Infections
Yeast Infection is a infection that is caused by the evil fungus candida albicans. Many people around the world suffer from this but are unaware of all the simple home remedies for yeast infections. There are many simple remedies you can use at home to cure it instead of visiting a doctor or buying expensive medicine.
The first home remedy I ever tried was apple cider vinegar. This worked surprisingly well for the yeast infection I had on my hand. Simply wet the infected area with apple cider vinegar and the yeast infection will slowly die.
If you suffer from yeast infection in your vagina there are other home remedies for that those yeast infections. My favorite method here is to dip a tampon into a special solution made from Potassium Sorbate and water. I use about one pint of water and 15 grams of the Sorbate. This is one of the best home remedies for yeast infection if it is located in the vagina.
Another method that you can use no matter where you have the infection is the buttermilk method. This is a pretty slow procedure but it does work and kill the infection. Drink one glass of buttermilk each day. I drank it just before bed to let it work over night.
Garlic is in the top 3 home remedies for yeast infections. Garlic is really antifungal all will treat the bad yeast bacteria's like punch bags. Just use a garlic masher and put the mashed garlic on the infected skin. Beware to not use this method in the private areas or you will feel a worse pain than the yeast infection inflict.
My last method for this article is a warm salt bath. You can make it a small bath just to dip the affected part in or you could do like me and fill it up. I like a full hot bath with some added salt. I lie down and soak for half an hour or so. The salt will start to work on the yeast infection and this is a very comfortable way to get rid of your yeast infection.
Hope you have found these home remedies for yeast infections useful and maybe I will write some more methods soon. Good luck with curing your yeast infection and make sure you don't let it grow for too long.
The bad thing about most of these home remedies for yeast infections is that they are pretty messy and take a long time to cure the infection. There is however one way you can cure your yeast infection in less than 12 hours in a totally natural way. Have a look at Home Remedies for Yeast Infections for more simple ways to cure your yeast infection.

Simple and Natural Yeast Infection Remedies
Natural yeast infection remedies are quickly becoming the best way to attack and cure your infection. I attribute this to more and more people doing their homework and understanding the benefits of using a natural remedy for their yeast infection. People are tired of going to the doctor and spending money on the doctor's visit and prescription medication and not finding permanent relief from their infection.
People are also discovering the side effects of prescription medications and deciding to stop using those drugs as a cure. People are educating themselves and finding out that the prescription drugs only treat the symptoms and not the problem that comes along with Candida infections. So it really is no surprise that more and more people, especially women a turning towards the more effective yeast infection remedies to put an end to their pain and suffering from their vagina infections.
There are no down sides, only up sides to a natural yeast infection remedy. Below are some tips that you can start using today to put an end to your yeast infection suffering.
Clothing and Hygiene
If you have a Candida infection or to keep from getting an infection you should wear loose clothing. You should also avoid wearing clothes made of synthetic fibers. You should either wear cotton underwear or no underwear at all whenever you can. The goal here is to keep the outside of the vaginal area as ventilated and dry as possible. Yeast grows and thrives in warm, moist areas of the body.
Some people do not realize it but yeast infections are transferable from one person to another. Due to this fact, you should avoid exposure as much as possible. You should not share public showers, baths and whirlpools in places like the YMCA and your local gym. You should not share towels just to be sure you do not get a yeast infection from someone else.
If you are using condoms during sex you should not use a condom with nonoxynol-9 lubricant. Nonoxynol-9 has been found to actually cause vagina infections. There are plenty of different condoms with other type of lubricants. You should wear a condom if you are having sex with a partner that has a yeast infection.
You should eliminate the use perfumed soaps and oils as these items can potentially cause a vagina infection. These type of products can kill the good bacteria in and on your body. Killing the good bacteria leaves you open for the bad bacteria to overgrow and develop into an infection.
Foods to Avoid
Here are a short list of foods that you must avoid if you want to put a stop to your yeast infection.
Yeast
Sugar
White Flour
Wheat Flour
Processed Foods
Caffiene
Chocolate
Simple and Natural Yeast Infection Remedies
Yogurt is possibly the best food weapon to attack your yeast problem. Yogurt contains natural healthy bacteria. This natural healthy bacteria called Lactobacillus acidophilus, works to kill the overgrowth of yeast in your body. It is recommended that you eat one serving per day to help eliminate your infections for the long term. Some people recommend placing yogurt on a tampon and inserting it in to the vagina but highly recommend that you DO NOT insert anything of this nature into the vagina for an infections cure.
Garlic has been found to be a good fighter against yeast infections since it contains anti-fungal properties. Adding garlic to your diet by way of adding it to the food you eat daily will help to getting your infection cured. Some people recommend wrapping a clove of garlic into a cheesecloth and inserting it into the vagina. Again, I do not recommend placing anything like this into your vagina.
Tea Tree Oil is another natural remedy that many people use world wide to use as a natural yeast infection cure. People recommend placing drops of the tea tree oil onto a tampon and inserting the tampon into the vagina. Many people swear by this as a cure for their vagina infection but to repeat myself, I do not recommend placing anything of this nature into your vagina as a cure for your infection.
Each of these natural yeast infection remedies can be used but should be used thought your diet and not used internally. These cure have been found to work by thousands of women around the world for many years.

Natural Yeast Infection Cures - 3 Simple Yeast Infection Natural Remedies
Looking for natural yeast infection cures because you're totally frustrated with drug-based treatments? You'll discover here 3 easy yeast infection natural remedies that are proving very popular and effective.
First though, why is it that so many women around the world are desperately seeking natural cures for yeast infections? To answer that we need to first consider the mainstream treatments that are normally used in treating yeast infections.
Mainstream yeast infection treatments can work effectively...
First line treatment is usually through drug-based topical creams, pessaries, lotions, liquid suspensions, pastilles, etc., depending on the location of the infection. Now, these work well enough if you follow the instructions correctly. And will take between 3 and 14 days to work depending on the severity of your condition.
But there are problems for many sufferers too...
Because they are drug-based, there can be some negative side effects for some folks. And, for many, their infection can seem to take forever to clear. And again, many women will see their symptoms disappear, only to come back again after the medication has been ceased. That is, they suffer from recurring yeast infections which have a pretty devastating effect on their lives. Could this be you?
There are 2 possible reasons for this...
(1) The medication addresses the local symptoms rather than the root cause (the Candida Albicans fungus), and, the underlying conditions that can help trigger its 'overgrow' into a yeast infection (e.g. things like a lowered immune system, stress, poor diet, antibiotics, steroids, hormonal changes, etc.).
(2) The Candida Albicans can build-up a resistance to the drugs that these medications contain, rendering them ineffective if you keep using them over a long period of time (e.g. when you have recurring yeast infections, or, your infection is being stubborn the first time around).
This is why so many frustrated women are looking for totally natural yeast infection cures...
More and more women (and men) are turning to yeast infection natural remedies that don't have the negativity of mainstream drug-based remedies, with the added bonus that they're way cheaper too.
These 3 natural yeast infection remedies are proving to be very popular...
(1) Many women swear by using yogurt to relieve their symptoms. They just apply over the vulva and vagina, and / or, they soak a tampon in the yogurt for internal relief. But it has to be plain, unsweetened, with no added color. And it must contain "live, active cultures" - always check the label.
(2) Another women's favorite is to use garlic as a paste or as a tampon. Crush peeled raw garlic into a paste and smear over the affected area. You can also wrap a peeled whole clove of garlic in muslin and use as a tampon.
(3) Last, but not least, is something that is becoming more and more popular, although it has been used for thousands of years; raw apple cider vinegar. You can douche with it, or, have it in a 'sitz' bath. For the douche just add 2 tablespoons of cider to 2 quarts of warm water. For the bath, just add 2 cups of cider to a low, warm bath and bathe for around 20 minutes.
So there you have it, 3 natural yeast infection remedies for you to try at home.
But on their own are they enough?
These are just three of a whole bunch of natural yeast infection remedies, and on their own, they can't really be called "cures". To really cure yeast infections naturally, especially stubborn or recurring yeast infections, you need much more information than I can give in this short report. For example, you have to consider dietary and even lifestyle issues, the type of things that can help to perpetuate your yeast infection if not properly addressed.
If you want to discover more about natural yeast infection cures, and get the facts on how you can get rid of your yeast infection fast (in as little as 12 hours perhaps) and permanently, then please go now to http://how-to-get-rid-of-a-yeast-infection.blogspot.com/. It'll only take a couple of minutes.

Home Remedies for Yeast Infections - Simple Methods to Get Your Life Back
Home remedies for yeast infections can offer you some quick relief. In this article, we will explore some different natural cures to treat your candidiasis.
An overgrowth of the Candida Albicans yeast results in a yeast infection. Usually, this yeast causes no problems at all, but it can multiply rapidly and cause a yeast infection if you have certain other factors present.
Natural Remedies for Yeast Infections
The Candida Albicans yeast likes places that are moist, dark and warm. "Friendly bacteria" usually keeps the yeast under control; however a lack of this bacteria allows the yeast to grow. A yeast infection home remedy tries to make the environment unfriendly to yeast growth or increase the amount of friendly bacteria.
Home remedies for yeast infections include:
Garlic - Garlic contains antifungal properties that make it effective in treating vaginal yeast infections. Peel a garlic clove (white peel removed), put thread through it (for easy removal) and place in the vagina overnight.
Take the garlic out in morning. Use garlic every evening until the infection disappears. Cutting into the garlic is advised by some midwives if you have got very severe yeast infection but some people find that this can sting.
Yogurt - Yogurt can be used to treat infections directly and may be the most popular yeast infection home remedy. Eating live yogurt on a daily basis can also help to prevent them from appearing in the first place.
Excess yeast in the body can be killed by the friendly bacteria (lactobacillus acidophilus) contained in live yogurt. In the case of vaginal yeast infection or a male yeast infection, yogurt treatments can get a bit untidy.
There are different ways to apply the yogurt to a vaginal yeast infection. A popular method is to use a needleless syringe. You, of course, could use your fingers though this is a bit messy. Other methods include freezing the yogurt in a plastic tampon applicator tube or soak a tampon in the yogurt. Do not use a flavored yogurt. The yogurt must contain the friendly bacteria lactobacillus acidophilus and be a sugar free, live natural yogurt. You might want to use some type of protection for your underwear also.
Calendula cream - This cream helps with your itching and it also contains antifungal properties. Apply directly to the skin or around the vagina.
Oil of Oregano - This oil has antifungal properties and can be used for many different types of yeast infections when taken as an oral supplement.
Vinegar - Antifungal properties found in white and apple cider vinegar make it an effective natural cure for yeast infections. It can burn if used straight, though, so be sure to dilute it. Mix 1-2 tablespoons with a pint of water and apply to the vagina or use on a tampon. Bathing in a cup of vinegar mixed with bath water can also be great for skin yeast infections. It is also one of the more pleasant natural cures for yeast infections. Vinegar solutions can also be applied to male yeast infections.
Try one or more of these home remedies for yeast infections and you should get quick relief.
